You have been on Pinterest, you have spent a small fortune on wedding magazines, you have been advised from everyone from your mum’s hairdresser to the check-out lady in Tesco – everyone seems to have an opinion on your wedding!

Where do you start?

Let us help you navigate and plan your perfect marquee wedding to your budget and your style. The beauty with a marquee wedding is that you get to put your own touches to your special day from lighting to carpet colour – it is all your decision and we will make it happen.

With our dedicated team throughout our office and to our marquee installers, we all care tremendously about your wedding and our product that we never put out substandard equipment. With years of experience in the wedding industry, we have perfected the formula for the most splendid marquee wedding; a drop of romance, a dash of magic and a lashing of atmosphere.

We have your wedding covered

Weddings can be stressful and a bit of a minefield – relax, we have your wedding covered, we have done this a 1,000 times. We have answers to all your questions and even questions that you have not yet thought of.

We don’t hide anything from our clients – we are open, friendly and honest and we can navigate you to the right structure, design and layout for your special day. We are always on the other end of the phone, email, text or in person to offer guidance.

Planning around your guest numbers

Your marquee wedding starts with your guest numbers and we can plan everything around that. Your number of guests for both day and night time alludes to your marquee size and your marquee wedding layout.

We will advise what size will work best and we can show you with our 3D CAD drawing software, which will show you to scale how your marquee can be laid out. This is not set in stone; you can change your layout, as many times as you wish until you are happy.

Then the fun bit starts

Then the fun bit starts – do you want ivory draped lining, white flat lining? Do you want panoramic windows or Georgian style windows? What kind of chairs do you want; limewash chiavari chairs? Samsonite folding chairs? Round or trestle tables? And so forth.

We know all these questions sound endless and daunting – but that is what we are here for, we are your point of contact to navigate around your marquee wedding, so that you achieve your perfect day.

How your planning works

  • You enquire with our fabulous team, all you need to know for now is: your date, your location (we can also provide you with spectacular marquee venues throughout Scotland), your number of guests.
  • We provide you with a provisional quotation – we pride ourself on our honesty, all your costs are individually itemised on your provisional quote – no hidden charges – mileage, labour, fuel for heaters, the dreaded 20% vat – everything is noted on your quotation with a final price.
  • You come back to us and let us know anything that you want to add or change – we can do as many revisions of your marquee wedding booking as you like.
  • Our lovely site surveyor Sam (he literally knows everything one would want to know about tents, so bombard him with as many questions as you like) will come and meet you at your wedding location, home, marquee venue. Sam will measure your proposed marquee area, ask some boring questions about underground cables, access, water mains bla-bla, have a cup of tea with you and maybe a chocolate biscuit, chat over your provisional quotation – ask you what you like about your quotation and what you don’t like. He will discuss with you your theme, ideas for your wedding and overall get a feel of what you are aiming for, for your big day.
  • Sam comes back to Central Events HQ and gives our lovely office bee’s your site survey form, he tells us all about your wedding, so everyone is on your page, and we are all pushing for the right design and layout for your big day.
  • Our office staff revise your quotation and draw you your own 3D CAD drawing to scale – to show you exactly how your wedding marquee is going to look – where your windows will be, where your dance floor will be, where your bar will be, where your band will be etc.
  • Once this is sent over to you, you can advise us of any tweaks, changes you want to make, or ask any questions.
  • Only once you are happy we will send you a booking form to secure your marquee wedding. You very kindly secure your booking with a 25% deposit, and the remainder of your balance isn’t due until 14 days prior to your big day.
  • Now we aren’t just going to disappear after your booking, whenever, wherever (is that a Shakira song?) you have any questions, queries or even just fancy a quick chin-wag we are more than happy to speak with you in the months leading up to your wedding.
  • The month of your wedding – okay deep breaths, everything will be fine, not long to go! We will speak with you and confirm your erection date and your dismantling date, we send you over a list of questions (check list), we confirm your booking and your hire items and lastly your 3D CAD drawing. – Once all these are ironed out...VOILA, we are good to go.
  • Leave the rest to us, we always aim to be on site between 8-9am and we say your marquee will normally take the best part of the day to build and finish, so we always try to be with you at-least a full day before your wedding so you can add all your personal touches to your marquee, your caterers can set up, your florists can come in etc. so you are totally hassle free on your big day!
